Compliance Officer Role Description

Gatsby & White SA is the leading independent life insurance intermediary in Luxemburg. We are a dynamic company in expansion with a client base all over Europe and beyond.

  1. Act as Compliance Officer within the Legal and Compliance department;
  2. Reports directly to the Chief Legal and Compliance Officer (hereafter as “CCO”);
  3. Perform compliance controls in line with the internal Policies and Procedures and in collaboration with the CCO;
  4. Perform KYC reviews for new clients and onboarding and periodic reviews;
  5. Support client services team during their daily job on questions related with AML/CTF;
  6. Perform name screenings and Internet searches;
  7. Support on preparations of informative internal summaries on new legislation;
  8. Responsibilities and tasks arising from Product Oversight and Governance Procedure such as:
  • Mandates managements;
  • Be in charge of review and update of Partners (Insurers and Business Partners) KYP files;
  • Prepare Partner due diligences and identify and collect any missing documents;
  • Prepare a global table with information on agreements and insurance conventions signed with third parties;
  • Support with preparation of due diligence questionnaires received from third parties and questionnaire that will be prepared and submitted to third parties.
  1. General and submit internal reports on clients and Partners for reporting purposes;
  2. Provide training to new joiners on AML/CTF matters;
  3. Any other compliance related matters delegated by the CCO or Management Committee in line with department needs and skills and qualifications.

Skills and qualifications:

  1. University degree;
  2. Work experience 3-5 years in AML/CTF/Compliance;
  3. Able to work independently and in team;
